A sworn translation is an official document translation carried out by a translator registered with Indonesia's Ministry of Law and Human Rights, stamped and signed so it can be used for legal, immigration, education and business purposes both in Indonesia and abroad.
Do I need to send the original document? +
A clear scan or photo of your document is enough for a quote and for translation. The physical original is only needed if you require further legalization at a notary, ministry or embassy.
How long does a sworn translation take? +
Personal documents such as birth certificates, family cards or diplomas are usually completed within 1-2 business days. Larger corporate documents typically take 3-5 business days. Express service is available for urgent deadlines.
Will the translation be accepted for legalization at the Ministry of Law or an embassy? +
Yes. Our translations are produced by registered sworn translators, so they can be used for legalization at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, notaries, and foreign embassies in Indonesia.
